Industrial Skill Build-Up Program (3 Months)
Bridge the Gap Between Engineering Theory and Shop-Floor Reality
Are you a mechanical graduate looking to gain a competitive edge in the job market? Our intensive 3-month program is designed to transform students into industry-ready engineers. You won't just sit in a classroom—you will design, scan, and manufacture real components using industrial-grade equipment.
Phase 1: The Digital Foundation (Month 1)
Mastering the Software Suite: Before you can build, you must design. We focus on industry-standard software to ensure your blueprints meet global manufacturing requirements.
- • 2D Drafting (AutoCAD): Mastery of layers, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and creating production-ready blueprints.
- • 3D Modeling (SolidWorks/NX): Learning parametric modeling, assembly design, and interference checking.
- • DFM (Design for Manufacturing): Understanding how to design parts specifically for CNC and 3D printing to minimize waste and cost.
Phase 2: Advanced Data Capture & Prototyping (Month 2)
Reverse Engineering & Additive Manufacturing: Learn the modern workflow of capturing physical data and recreating it.
- • 3D Scanning Operations: Hands-on experience with handheld and stationary industrial scanners.
- • Mesh Repair & Reverse Engineering: Learning how to clean scan data and convert it back into editable CAD models.
- • 3D Printing (FDM & SLA): Complete machine setup, material selection (PLA, ABS, Resin), and troubleshooting print failures.
- • Slicing Software: Mastering G-code generation and optimizing print parameters for strength and speed.
Phase 3: Subtractive Manufacturing & Final Project (Month 3)
CNC Laser Operations & Real-World Application: Finish the program by mastering high-power industrial machinery.
- • CNC Laser Machine Operation: Learning laser optics, power settings for different materials (Acrylic, Wood, Metal), and safety protocols.
- • Project Management: Students will take a project from a rough sketch, 3D model it, and manufacture it using both 3D printing and Laser Cutting.
- • Quality Inspection: Using precision instruments to verify that your manufactured part matches your digital design.
